How we build world-class websites

01. Strategy
First up, we'll look at both the business needs and user goals to determine what problems we're solving by redesigning the website. This is conducted through a series of kick-off meetings with you and your teams. 
02. Content Development
In the second phase of the project, we'll take a look at what content we will need and where this content will go on the website to help users achieve their goals. We then write and develop this content, ready for the next stage of the process.
03. UX Design
This is where we create wireframes (skeleton website) and put the website copy delivered in the previous phase within the wireframe. This helps us to start to visualise the layout and structure of your website.
04. UI Design
During this phase of the project, we’ll add typography, colours and visuals to website designs. We can even create an interactive prototype of the design to showcase how it will work and flow before we start development.
05. Revisions
Recognising that things aren't always on point the first time around, we set aside time for necessary revisions when planning out each project. This stage of the process ensures we receive complete approval of the visual design before we start developing the website.
06. Website Development
Here, our team takes each element of the UI design and uses them to develop a functional website with the Webflow CMS. This way your site will be an exact replica of the designs and/or prototype that you've approved, meaning there will be no room for misinterpretation or grey area.
07. Launch
Once the website is developed, fully functional, SEO optimised and approved we can prepare to launch the new website and celebrate our success. From here on we recommend tactics to drive traffic such as writing blogs, PPC, social media etc.
08. Post Launch Support
Post-launch support will depend on the agreement, but our recommended hosting package includes maintenance for up 2 hours per month.

How to improve your existing membership experience when seeking information and making a booking

From the outset when setting business and user goals for your website, developing your sites content and  creating your wireframes we will have your existing members at the top of our mind as we know how vital this revenue stream is. 
Conducting interviews and running surveys to existing members will help us to understand their exact needs and requirements better. We will then create user personas of each subcategory of member, map customer journeys and build out the skeleton of a website in a wireframe that is designed with their exact needs in mind whilst ensuring we meet the other requirements necessary to fit all business objectives.

How do you ensure that you have all of the information you require from the outset, to guarantee the success of the site build and development?

You'll notice that with our pricing structure we mention that the pricing is an indicative price. Before taking a project on and signing a contract we have an initial client meeting to learn more about you and ensure we fully understand what your business needs. Once all the admin are sorted and we kick off the project we have an in-depth strategy session alongside stakeholder interviews to ensure we're aligned on what's needed and how it will be executed.

How you will be accountable once the project has started? Measures in place if works not delivered according to our understanding/expectations, and how can we mitigate the grey areas?

With every project that we take on, we make sure to kick it off on the right foot by having an initial introductory meeting, followed by a strategy meeting. This helps us to get a better understanding of your business and needs. You'll also have a dedicated account manager that is available to answer any questions. We work with milestones throughout the project with regular client check-ins to ensure you are satisfied with the deliverables before we proceed to the next step in the process. We even offer a “Happiness Guarantee” which you can learn more about in this presentation.

How can we replace/stop/change the solution if for any reasons in future things are not working out with each other?

We value client relationships and always try to have a clear line of communication. During our kickoff phase of the project we create a Project Plan that touches base on escalation processes in case something goes wrong, we prefer to be proactive instead of waiting for things to go wrong.

Where do we stand on intellectual rights of the content mid-way through the project if anything happens?

We always strive to deliver the best work possible and ensure our clients are satisfied. But if for any reason a problem arises and a client decides to stop the project we account for that by taking a milestone approach with our website process. For each big milestone, there are deliverables that need to be approved by the client. Once approved we also request the agreed upon fee to be paid. In case the project is abandoned the client will own the intellectual rights considering the milestone where the project was stopped at (keep in mind we will also charge a buy out fee, we will unpack this in our contract).

Can we see a draft copy of the agreement terms at this stage?

Yes, we haven't included it in our proposal but this can be provided on request.

What is excluded in terms of set up and financials? What kind of things can crop up at a later stage which would not be covered in our agreement?

Depending on the Package (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) we didn't account for any video/photo production costs, branding, communication strategy, social media marketing, or digital marketing and will be at an extra charge.

Do we need more clarification on any increased monthly costs and commitments once work is completed?

Things not included is Digital Strategy, Communication Strategy, Rebranding, Photo/Video Production, New Booking platform to replace Resort Suite.

When things go wrong, how do they go wrong?

Most often there's a disconnect between the agency's and the client's expectations. Delays with approvals and supplying necessary content or information can also hinder a project from completion. If the agency doesn’t do enough research to fully understand the business and user goals. Miscommunication between agency and client. All of this can be accounted for by started off on the right foot, having a clear line of communication, regular check-ins, and escalating things early on when necessary.
